Standard Waterproofing Inc. is a women-owned (WBE) commercial waterproofing company located in Winslow, Maine.

We serve a broad range of clients, ranging from new construction to retrofitting and repair work for both general contractors and building owners.

Although our work is mostly in the background, we know that the Standard Waterproofing difference can be felt through our commitment to excellence in quality, safety and professionalism.

In 1984 when our company was founded by Fred Green, we specialized in masonary restoration and joint sealants. In 1991 Tom and Marie Michaud purchased Standard Waterproofing and moved the company to Waterville.

In 2005, Tom’s daughter Theresa Thompson started working for the company as a project manager. After much hard work, Theresa became Vice President, and in 2014 purchased her father’s shares of the company. She then purchased Marie’s shares in 2016 and became the President of Standard Waterproofing Inc.
